Iswar Chandra  Vidyasagar  was  a great man. He was born at  Birmingha in Medinipur district. His date of birth is on  26 September in 1820. His father name was Thakurdas Bandyopadhyay and mother name  was Bhagavati Devi.He wrote many books i .  e Borno Porichoy,  Sitar Bonobash bash .Iswar Chandra Vidyasagar was one of the pillars of Bengal  renaissance who managed to continue the social reforms movement that was started by Raja Rammohan Roy in the early 1800s . This great man passed away on 29 July 1891.
