    Ans :John Keats in his sonnet, "The poetry of Earth " says that the music of Earth is never dead. In summer, the natural world goes still and quite due to the scorching heat of the sun .The birds being tired, stop their singing and hide in cooling trees.At that time the Grasshopper carries the music. Similarly, in winter, frost covers the entire natural world. Then the Cricket warms the winter with its music. It reminds one half lost in drowsiness of the Grasshopper's beautiful song among some grassy hills. Therefore, the music of earth is a continuous celebration through the cycle of season.

    Answer :In "The Poetry of Earth ",Keats has drawn a beautiful picture of summer. When the birds are tired with the scorching heat of the sun, they hide in cooling trees and stop their song. At that hour,the Grasshopper appears with its song. It runs from hedge to hedge in the meadow and takes the lead in summer joy.When he tires, he rests beneath a tree. Thus the poetry is created, and it is a continuous process.


    # In winter evening, when frosty silence prevails everywhere, the Cricket shrills from behind the stove. It warms the winter frost. The warmth of the Cricket's shrill leads one to imagine the Grasshopper's song in the summer season.

    Answer : In the sonnet "The poetry of Earth ", Keats expresses the idea that the music of nature  never dies. When the birds faint in the scorching heat of summer, the voice of the Grasshopper runs from hedge to hedge. It keeps nature alive when the natural world goes quiet because of heat in summer.Similarly ,the song of the Cricket breaks the frosty silence in winter.Developing the theme of the sonnet , Keats suggests that the poetry of earth actually means the music of nature .And this poetry continues to exist in spite of the changes in the season - cycle . Hence the title is apt and appropriate.

    Answer. 'The poetry of Earth 'is written by John Keats . The poem presents the song of the Grasshopper and the Cricket as the natural music of the two different seasons summer and winter. In summer, when the earth is drowsy with heat, the Grasshopper celebrates a song of the overflowing endowments of nature .The buzzing activity of summer comes to a stop in the frost of winter .Then the stillness of a winter evening is broken by a Cricket's song . To one who is alerted by the Cricket's song ,the music comes as a reminder of the Grasshopper's song in summer.
