 A wood - cutter and the River _God

One day  a wood -cutter was cutting wood  near a river with an axe. Suddenly his axe slipped  from his hand and fell  into water. He did not know  how to swim and so he started weeping. The river God heard his cry.He felt pity for the wood - cutter and came with a  golden a axe. The wood - cutter refused it saying "No it is not mine. " Then the God returned with a silver one. The wood -cutter refused it too. Then the God came with the iron axe. It made the wood - cutter glad and he said, " Yes,  it is mine. " The God because satisfied at his honesty and so gifted all the axes to the wood - cutter.
