My dear aunt , 

Last Tuesday being a holiday,  I spent it reading an interesting adventure story. I want to share my views with you.

The background of the story is an old,  haunted house. Nobody was buying the house from its owner even at a nominal price. A retired soldier  having no house of his own,  purchased the house bothering little about the rumour centering the house. At night,  ghosts appeared and tried to frighten him .But  the soldier boldly faced those ghosts and caught one of them. Later it was found that some robbers made it their den .They were not allowed anybody  to live there.

I liked the story because it was full of suspense and thrill that did not let my attention drift away.
